Can I add a logo watermark to a PDF?
Yes. Choose Image / Logo, select your logo, then control its size, opacity, angle, position, and target pages.
Which image formats can I use?
PDF Watermark accepts JPG and JPEG, PNG, and WebP images up to 20 MB. Unsupported formats need to be saved as one of these types first.
Can I use a transparent PNG logo?
Yes. PNG transparency is preserved when the image is embedded in the PDF, so logos can sit cleanly over existing page content.
Are my PDF and logo uploaded?
No. ToolNest reads, watermarks, and saves the PDF in your browser. Neither file is uploaded, and no conversion server is used.
Can I watermark selected pages?
Yes. Choose all pages or enter individual pages and ranges such as 1-3,6,8-10.
Can I control watermark opacity?
Yes. Adjust opacity from a subtle 5% to fully opaque, along with text or logo size, angle, and page position.
Does adding a watermark flatten the PDF?
No. ToolNest embeds the text or image on the existing PDF pages instead of turning each page into a bitmap. Existing selectable text and vector content remain in their original form where the PDF format permits.
Can this tool remove an existing watermark?
No. This tool adds new text or image watermarks; it does not remove or edit watermarks already in a PDF.
Can I watermark a password-protected PDF?
No. Unlock encrypted or password-protected PDFs in an appropriate application before using this browser tool.
